The u/s showed the baby is still there. He has a heartbeat but it's extremely weak right now. It was 70bpm at 6w4d. So while it might be that it's just starting up... it's more likely that it's winding its way down. The baby is surrounded by a pool of blood... a subchorionic hemmorage. An SCH is very very common and the majority of them go away between 8-12 weeks. However, it does put me at an increased risk of a miscarriage. They believe my risk is significantly increased based on the weak heartrate this morning.
So I'm back on bedrest... my next u/s will be 12/28. They said they are giving me 50/50 odds right now. We'll either see a stronger faster hb or no hb at all when we have our next u/s.
